ACTING

Born in NYC moved to Brooklyn at the age of 13, while running errands with her mother in the neighborhood stumbled on to a film production with Robert Duvall, at that moment she dreamed of being an actress. While in high school earn roles in several plays, after graduation enrolled in the theatre/acting program at Brooklyn College; but with life’s challenges and deterrents, and having to earn a living went another direction in the field of computer software, did well and was promoted running a dept for a technical company. After several years there she open up her own company and subsequently moved it to Virginia to be close to the government in support government contracting, grow the company to over 425 employees representatives in 14 cites. While on travel overseas contracted Viral Meningitis and developed a brain aneurysm, underwent a brain procedure at the Mayo Clinic neurological dept, suffered brain trauma; loss of memory cognitive skills, was forced to step down as CEO. Upon her Dr.’s recommendation took singing and acting to improve her memory. During the 5 year recovery process created a collection of 16 songs and launched first album “Renacida” Reborn under the Artist name Stebani Cruz . One of the songs on the album “Fria” hit the NYC top 40 charts in Latin genre receiving her first check from BMI, Broadcast Music inc. affirming her an up and coming recording artist. Released her first children’s book “Nonna and Maddox a day in the life of an ordinary boy” and is releasing her autobiography September 2022, “The Price you Pay”. Acting became of form of expression by way of storytelling. During these challenging times Lynette acquired, Tenacity, Perseverance Never giving up, having Vison and being Brave these became part of her tool kit that has successfully aided her in receiving roles in a number of short films.
